Young And Scared ♥

My biggest fear?
To be honest, I'm not completely sure. Because sometimes I think my fears are what keep me going. A few years ago me and my dad were swimming down at the beach in front of my house, as it was high tide, if you walked out a few metres it was about 2 metres deep, and that was where we were swimming.  Suddenly my dad pushed me and said "swim" so as I swam I thought we were just catching a wave, but the wave passed so I stopped, but my dad pushed me once again and I instantly knew something must of been up, so I swam into shore. As we reached the shore my dad quickly grabbed my wrist and dragged me onto my feet and ran onto the sand to a group of people staring amazingly at us, my dad didn't need to say anything, I looked into the water to see two 5 Metre long Marco sharks now circling where we were just swimming. It turns out, while we were swimming the group of people were waving to my dad warning us to quickly get out of the water pointing to two sharks swimming quickly towards us. The people all smiled and clapped as we sat next to them, shaking of shock, fear and now relief.
Maybe it was the adrenaline of it all, but something about the experience intreged me, I have a gigantic fear of sharks now, yet I love them, as I have a habbit of attracting sharks when I go swimming, which many of my friends make jokes about not wanting to go swimming with me (:
So that experience wasn't the last, there have been more, not as exciting, but more. But something about the water excites me, pulling me in making me feel like in the water i'm free, and i'm supposed to be there ! And it seems the sharks always know I'm there, You may not believe me but I have the sixth sense, knowing. I know when somethings going to happen, when me and my friend were going to go surfing, I said "I'm not going to bring my surfboard because I won't need it." She gave me a puzzled look but didn't ask, we walked onto the sand, I laughed, seeing a fin and shadow in the wave and a crowd at the shore.
So are sharks my biggest fear? No, a big intreger more likely.
I believen fear, but I think that behind every fear is courage trying to get out and show you something amazing about it.

Who can I trust? ♥

Friends.

Well, lately some stuff has been going on, so i'm not left with many of them.
In the pictures is me & my "best friend" Jordan, We've been going through a rough patch of our friendship at the moment, but we're trying our best to make it through.

What is a friend? (according to an online dictionary)
1. A person whom one knows, likes, and trusts.
2. A person whom one knows; an acquaintance.
3. A person with whom one is allied in a struggle or cause; a comrade.
4. One who supports, sympathizes with, or patronizes a group, cause, or movement.

I suppose I agree on some levels, Yes a friend is someone you know, trust and like, but to what extreme, is there a certain amount of each you should feel?
I believe that a friend is someone to confide in during times of struggle.
Someone to be with you in the hard moments but never leaving.
A person who you can look next to you and know they're there, stopping you from turning back. But how are we supposed to know who really to trust?
That leads onto another subject, trust. Do you have to completely trust a person to be their friend? Ask yourself, can i trust this person completely ?
Am I using this person to stop myself from being alone?
Am I just trying to fit in?
I don't think anyone can find the perfect friend. But I think you can get close, I think underneath everyone is perfect, but a true friend is the one who uncovers you.
A true friend is someone who makes you know that it is safe for you to be yourself, and will accept you, not just any you, the real you.

A Chance To Share What I Want To Say For The First Time ♥

Okay, So maybe the title lied a bit, don't get me wrong I love to talk but I don't actually talk about the stuff I think no one will care about and what I can't handle to share because it hurts too much.
So I heard about blogging where you can write whatever you want and no one really reads it but it's a good way to express yourself, so here it goes.
My name is Emily, in anyone elses blind eyes i'm another teenage girl, going through teenage dramas. But I'm actually a teenage girl with the imagination of a five year old, My mind will mature, I still imagine that when i'm standing in a garden that i'm surrounded by fairies somewhere watching me, or that when i'm swimming i'm a mermaid who can see the ocean ahead of me for miles, knowing I could swim the entire ocean and find my meaning. But these days if I told anyone that i'd probably get laughed at. I love attention of others yet I like to sit by myself at home, listen to music, sketch, sing and write quotes that make me smile.
I sing to distract myself from the world, I love it, it makes it seem like you are the song, you're in it, and life is easy, but then you wake up. So I write my own songs, to keep the dream alive, and real.
I'm the type of person who says what I think, without thinking about what i'm supposed to say, some people hate it, but for some people it's a great talent to have. For me I wish I could stop, yet I gain respect for being who I am, and standing up for what I believe in.
I have issues that no one knows about except the people I know would care enough to help me.
I have talents that only the ones who actually look have found.
I cry, but no one who knows me would think so, because I seem like I don't care.
But no one actually knows me, even the people who think they do. I don't even know myself, yet. I'm waiting, i'm waiting for that say when I smile to myself and think "I am who I am" But i'm not just waiting to find myself, I'm creating myself to who I'm going to be.
